01
Introduction
Emergyn Solutions ("Emergyn", "we", "us", or "our") builds web, mobile, cloud, and digital marketing
products for businesses worldwide. We know that the information you share with us — whether that's a
contact enquiry, project files, or the data inside a product we build for you — is sensitive, and we treat
it that way.
This policy applies to our website, the enquiry and newsletter forms on it, and the support and delivery
services we provide to clients. If you engage us under a separate agreement (such as a master services
agreement or data processing agreement), that contract takes precedence wherever it differs from this
policy.
By using our website or submitting information to us, you confirm that you have read and understood this
policy.
02
Information We Collect
We only collect what we actually need. In practice, that falls into four groups.
Information you give us
- Contact details — your name, email address, phone number, and company when you submit an enquiry, request a quote, or subscribe to our newsletter.
- Project information — the brief, requirements, files, artwork, and content you share with us so we can scope and deliver work.
- Correspondence — emails, call notes, and support tickets exchanged with our team.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, screen size, and language.
- Usage data — pages viewed, time on page, referring website, and the links you click.
- Cookies and similar technologies — described in full in the Cookie Policy below.
Information from third parties
- Analytics and advertising platforms that report aggregated performance data to us.
- Business contact data from professional networks or referral partners where you have made it available.
What we do not collect
We do not knowingly collect special category data — such as health records, biometric data, or political
and religious beliefs — through this website, and we ask that you do not submit it through our forms.
03
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to you — answering enquiries, preparing proposals, and scheduling calls.
- To deliver our services — designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting the work you have engaged us for.
- To operate and improve our website — diagnosing errors, measuring which content is useful, and improving performance and accessibility.
- To keep things secure — detecting fraud, preventing abuse, and protecting our systems and yours.
- To send updates you asked for — newsletters and service notices, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations — invoicing, tax records, and responding to lawful requests.
We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
04
Legal Bases for Processing
Where data protection law (such as the GDPR) applies, we rely on one of the following grounds:
- Contract — processing needed to quote for, deliver, and support the services you have requested.
- Consent — for optional cookies, marketing emails, and any use you explicitly opt into. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests — running and securing our website, understanding how it is used, and responding to business enquiries, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation — retaining financial records and complying with lawful requests from authorities.
05
Cookie Policy
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They let
the site remember your actions and preferences over time, and they help us understand how the site is
being used. We also use closely related technologies — such as local storage, pixels, and tags — and refer
to all of them as "cookies" in this policy.
Categories of cookies we use
| Category |
What it does |
Typical lifespan |
Consent |
| Strictly necessary |
Keeps the site working — page routing, form submission, security tokens, load balancing, and spam prevention. The site cannot function properly without these. |
Session to 12 months |
Always on |
| Preference |
Remembers choices you make, such as language, region, and whether you have dismissed a notice, so you do not have to set them again. |
Up to 12 months |
Optional |
| Analytics & performance |
Tells us which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where errors occur, so we can improve content and speed. Reporting is aggregated. |
Up to 24 months |
Optional |
| Marketing & retargeting |
Measures the performance of our campaigns and, where enabled, allows relevant Emergyn ads to be shown to you on other sites. |
Up to 13 months |
Optional |
| Embedded content |
Set by third-party media we embed, such as video players, maps, and fonts. These providers may set their own cookies once the content loads. |

First-party and third-party cookies
First-party cookies are set by emergyn.com and are used to run the site and remember your preferences.
Third-party cookies are set by services we rely on — for example analytics, embedded video, and
advertising platforms — and are governed by those providers' own privacy policies. We keep the number of
third-party services on our site to a minimum.
Do Not Track
Browsers may send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is still no agreed industry standard for
interpreting it, our site does not currently respond to these signals. You can still control cookies using
the options in the next section.
06
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You are in control. You can accept or refuse optional cookies at any time, and refusing them will not stop
you browsing the site — though some features, such as embedded video, may not work as intended.
- Browser settings — every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and browse privately.
- Device settings — mobile operating systems let you reset or limit advertising identifiers.
- Opt-out tools — analytics and advertising providers usually publish their own opt-out mechanisms.
- Ask us — email business@dakshineshwaryict.com and we will confirm what is set and help you remove it.
Cookie settings in common browsers
Clearing cookies removes your saved preferences as well, so you may be asked to set them again on your next visit.
07
How We Share Information
We share personal information only where it is necessary, and only with parties bound to protect it:
- Service providers — hosting, email delivery, analytics, and helpdesk platforms that operate on our instructions under written agreements.
- Professional advisers — accountants, auditors, and lawyers, where required.
- Authorities — where we are legally obliged to disclose information, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Business transfers — if Emergyn is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer to the successor entity under the same protections.
08
Data Retention
We keep records of the information users provide for as long as the product or service is in use, and for
a limited period afterwards where we need it for support, contractual, or legal reasons. Automatically
collected data — such as analytics and log data — is stored for up to two years.
Once a retention period ends, data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised. If you would like us to delete
any or all of the data you have given us, email
business@dakshineshwaryict.com
and our support team will get in contact with you shortly.
09
Safety & Security
Maintaining the security and privacy of our customers' data is a top priority. We deploy physical,
electronic, and procedural safeguards to defend the data we collect and store — including encrypted
transport, restricted access, and role-based permissions. Only authorised personnel with a valid purpose
can access information, for example to operate, develop, and refine a product.
No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. While we work hard to protect your data, we cannot
rule out the risk of a breach. If an incident affects your personal information, we will notify you and
the relevant authorities as required by law.
10
International Data Transfers
Emergyn operates globally, and our teams and service providers may be located in countries other than your
own. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we put appropriate safeguards in place —
such as standard contractual clauses and equivalent contractual commitments — so that it continues to
receive the level of protection described in this policy.
11
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your information where we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it.
- Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
- Port your data to another provider in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email
business@dakshineshwaryict.com.
We respond to verified requests within 30 days and will tell you if we need more time.
12
Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal
information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
13
Third-Party Links & Services
Our site links to external websites, and some pages embed third-party content such as video players and
maps. Once you follow a link or interact with embedded content, that provider's privacy policy applies. We
do not control those sites and are not responsible for their practices, so we recommend reviewing their
policies before sharing information with them.
14
Updates and Changes
This policy is subject to modification and amendment as our services, technology, and legal obligations
evolve. When we make a material change we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page and,
where appropriate, notify you by email. We recommend reviewing this page periodically so you stay informed
of the latest revisions.
